Our onsite workshop encounters daily requests to restore function, polish and sparkle to personal treasure.
A simple clean, chain solder, resize or complex setting reconstruction are all given the same exacting analysis prior to the application by Rob or Clarisse personally.
Valuations
Robert is a registered valuer #383 with the National Council of Jewellery Valuers having undergone extensive training in gemmology, diamond grading and valuing.
A professional valuation is a certificate of appraisal, recommended every 2 years, providing proof of ownership. It contains a full description of your jewellery and a statement explaining the reason for the valuation and the intended market. It is an important safeguard if your jewellery is lost, stolen or damaged for many reasons including insurance claims.
Gemmology
Robert is a fellow of the Gemmological Association of Australia since 1989 and continues to research, study and practise the science of Gemmology. Over the past 30 years he and Clarisse have travelled through outback Australia and to remote International locations to experience firsthand the mining practises of regular local people. Building a network that fosters an ethical trade of rare gemstone which they proudly share this enviable curated collection with their customers.
